What can the extension actually download?
Four categorized media types per product: (1) main gallery images at original HD resolution, (2) per-SKU variant photos grouped by color/size, (3) customer-uploaded review pictures, (4) the product video as a 1080p MP4 with its poster JPG. The bulk Download All button gives you every category in a single ZIP.
Will downloaded files have a watermark?
Never. AliDownPro pulls the original master URL straight from the supplier CDN — no overlay, no compression, no watermark. The files are identical to what the seller uploaded.
What permissions does the extension request?
Two: "downloads" (required to save files to your Downloads folder) and "storage" (used to cache the latest DOM selectors so we work even when marketplaces update their site). Plus an explicit list of 22 marketplace + CDN domains — never the catch-all <all_urls>. We never read pages outside this list and never touch your browsing history.
Does it slow down AliExpress?
No. The extension waits until window.load + 800ms before doing any DOM iteration, runs its mutation observer on a 1.2-second debounce, and uses idle callbacks to schedule work. Affiliate link rewriting only fires after the page is fully loaded so the marketplace's own JS hydration is never blocked.
Does the extension work on the mobile AliExpress site?
Chrome on iOS / Android doesn't support extensions (browser-engine restriction, not ours). For mobile, use alidownpro.com directly in any mobile browser — full ZIP downloads work there too.
Which languages is the extension translated into?
Ten: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Arabic and Turkish — covering the top dropshipping and reseller markets. Chrome auto-picks your browser's locale; if it isn't one of the ten, the extension falls back to English.
